How the matching works
Three systems, one gutter.
Every pairing runs through the same pipeline a serious relationship platform would use, pointed at a bird that already mates for life and did not ask for any of this.
Coo Verification
Every profile is authenticated by a three-second coo sample. No doves posing as pigeons, no gulls in from the coast. If the vocalization doesn't clear our reference range, the account never goes live.
Homing Radius Matching
We only surface birds inside your natural return-flight range, so an evening out never means abandoning the route that gets you home before dark. Distance is measured in wingbeats, not miles.
Nest-Readiness Score
A 1-to-10 rating of how prepared each bird is to commit to a shared gutter, weighted on twig-gathering history, prior ledge tenure, and how they behave around a dropped bagel. Updated hourly.
