v4.12 Nine new gutters in us-backyard-2

Bury it at the edge.

Cache gives every squirrel a global network of 412 holes. Zero-config burying, a preview deployment for every nut, and automatic rollback when a blue jay is watching. Finding things again ships in Q3.

The storage layer for things you will never see again.

Cache handles the digging, the placement and the patting-down. Remembering where is your responsibility, per section 9 of the terms.

Preview deployments

Every acorn gets a temporary hole before it gets its permanent hole. Inspect the preview, approve it, and promote to production. Two holes per nut. Twice as much to forget.

Avg. previews per acorn: 2.0

412 edge regions

Flower beds, gutters, a Honda Civic wheel well and one potted fern on a third-floor balcony. Median time to first acorn: 40 seconds of digging in the wrong place.

p99 retrieval: did not complete

Instant rollback

When a jay watches you bury, Cache digs the nut back up and redeploys it six feet left. Most customers roll back four or five times per acorn. We count each one as a deploy.

Rollback time: 0.8s, then panic

412 regions. All of them within one fence.

Our edge network spans the entire perimeter of a single suburban backyard and two neighboring properties. We are in talks with the park.

Teams that have stopped asking where anything is.

We moved the whole stash off a single oak in March. I can't find any of it, but the dashboard says it's all there, and honestly that's the part I was paying for.

A jay saw me deploy and I rolled back in under a second. Then I rolled back the rollback. The acorn is somewhere in Ohio now.
